Mama Fit Education

The biggest congratulations on the arrival of your new little bundle of absolute joy! The hard work of pregnancy and labour is over, baby is on the outside and now your body is starting the long road to recovery.

I love educating women on everything to do with their body and pelvic health, but the post-natal recovery holds a very special place in my heart. I remember even as a physio who see’s new mum’s every week I struggled to know what to do for my own recovery. There is so little information available for us, especially past the 6 week mark. This magic number is not when everything is healed!

Essential Physio’s Mama Fit classes are a combined effort by myself and Emily from EmPowerMe Fitness. Between us, you get the expertise of a a pelvic health physio, experienced Personal Trainer, Pilates & Yoga teacher, pole fitness instructor Pregnancy & Post-Natal Practitioner’s but most importantly we are mums too. Our goal is to help teach you about your post-natal body, your pelvic health as well as building the solid foundations of recovery after pregnancy and labour to help you get back to doing what you love doing. Whether it’s chasing after your toddler, walking with your dog or getting back to netball. We want you to learn everything you possibly can from these classes, but we just don’t have enough time in a 45 minute class each week to teach you everything we think you need to know.

So we have brought it to you online! These educational videos are only available for those who have purchased a Membership or pass to MamaFit Classes. For you to watch and learn from before coming to class. Then we can get stuck into some exercise and answer any questions you have along the way!

Once you have purchased classes (please visit Emily’s Website to purchase them here) Emily will send you a link to access these educational videos. Access is for 2 weeks after your register.
